New Jersey Statutes Title 18A. Education 18A § 60-10

It shall be the responsibility of the board of trustees and the president of each State and county college, in conjunction with their faculty to establish a formal procedure for the career development of all members of the professional staff including, but not limited to, a systematic and regular evaluation for the purpose of identifying any deficiencies, extending assistance for their correction and improving instruction.
