New Jersey Statutes Title 18A. Education 18A § 39-19.8

Each school district may develop and implement a policy requiring a list to be compiled of the names of students being transported by a school bus to a school-sponsored activity including, but not limited to, field trips or interscholastic sports programs. A list of students for each school bus compiled under a policy developed pursuant to this section shall be submitted to the school principal or designee and maintained for use in the case of an emergency.
