New Jersey Statutes Title 13. Conservation and Development Parks and Reservations 13 § 1L-20

The department may hire such employees as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this amendatory and supplementary act.  Subject to the provisions of Title 11 (Civil Service),  1 the department shall determine the compensation for the employees hired under this amendatory and supplementary act.  The department shall employ the underprivileged, minorities and young people where appropriate.
