1. Any such purchaser, his heirs or assigns, in order to perfect his or her title in fee simple, as contemplated by said Martin act and supplements and amendments, may cause notice to be given to all persons who were entitled to, or served with notice, at the time said adjustments respectively were made; or who have since acquired any interest in the land so sold, as may appear of record; setting forth the date of sale, the date of their deeds respectively and when and where recorded; a description of the land taken from said deed, and the amount for which the same was sold, requiring the owners, mortgagees or other persons interested in, or having a lien upon said land, who may desire to redeem said lands to pay said amount with legal interest from the date of sale to the date of redemption, together with all subsequent taxes, assessments, water rents, water rates, costs of improvements and all legal expenses necessarily paid or incurred by the purchaser since the sale, within sixty days from the date of service of said notice.
