1. That in case any person interested in the lands sold under the act of which this is a supplement or any of the supplements thereto, who is entitled to a notice of the sale under said act and supplements, has not been notified by the purchaser thereof or his legal representatives or assigns of such sale by inadvertence or otherwise, and a deed of said lands has been made and delivered to such purchaser, his legal representatives or assigns, such person or persons having such interest may, notwithstanding the making and delivery of said deed, be notified in the same manner and be entitled to redeem said lands within the same time and manner as provided in said act and supplements, and after the expiration of the time for redemption the officer whose duty it is under said act and supplements to make and execute the deed for the land sold shall make and execute a supplemental deed of such land to the said purchaser, his legal representatives or assigns, which deed shall recite the omission to notify said person in interest and the giving of such notice after the making and delivery of the original deed and said supplemental deed shall convey said lands as fully and to the same extent as if the said person interested in said lands had been originally notified and his interest had been sold, conveyed, debarred and foreclosed by the original deed.
