New Jersey Acts Saved from Repeal ACTS SAVED 54 § 4-104(11)

11. Any installments of arrears paid under the provisions of this act shall be credited to the arrears oldest in point of time, and the moneys paid shall be so applied; but no entry of payment or satisfaction or cancellation of record of the same, except by way of part payment, shall be made on or in respect to any item of arrears until the same is fully paid with the interest thereon, after which the same shall be satisfied or canceled or marked paid of record as if this act had not been passed.
