New Jersey Acts Saved from Repeal ACTS SAVED 40 § 18-4(24.1)

1. That the county of Middlesex is hereby declared to extend over and include all the waters of the sound between Staten Island and New Jersey, lying south of Woodbridge creek, and the waters of Raritan bay, lying westward of a line drawn from the lighthouse at Prince's bay to the mouth of Matavan creek, so far as the exclusive jurisdiction thereof is conceded to the state of New Jersey, by virtue of the agreement set forth and contained in the act entitled, “An act to ratify and confirm an agreement made between the commissioners appointed by the governor of the state of New York, and the commissioners appointed by the governor of the state of New Jersey, respecting the territorial limits and jurisdiction between the said states,” passed February twenty-sixth, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four.
