8. Said commissioners shall make a report of their proceedings and assessment to said circuit court within sixty days from the date of their appointment or within such further time as the said court may by order grant; upon the coming in of said report, signed by said commissioners, or any two of them, said court shall cause notice to be given in the same manner as prescribed by section five of this act, of the time and place of hearing any objections that may be made to such report and assessment; and after hearing any matter that may be alleged against the same, the said court shall either confirm the said report or refer the same back to the same or new commissioners, to be appointed by the said court, to reconsider the subject matter thereof; and the said commissioners to whom the said report shall be so referred, shall return the same report, corrected and revised, or a new report, to be by them made in the premises, to the said court, within such time as the said court shall by order direct, and the same on being so returned shall be confirmed or again referred by said court in manner aforesaid, as right and justice shall require, and so from time to time until a report shall be made or returned in the premises, which the court shall confirm; and such report when so confirmed shall be filed in the office of the county clerk of said county, and shall at all reasonable times be subject to examination and inspection of all parties interested.
