28. It shall and may be lawful for the said Protestant Episcopal churches not incorporated under this act, or any of them, to avail themselves of the provisions of the next preceding section of this act, on the certifying their intention so to do, to the clerk of the court of common pleas of the county in which said church or churches may be situate; and it shall be the duty of said clerk instantly to record the same.
