The Youth Outdoor Education Innovation Fund is created. The fund shall consist of transfers made by the Legislature and any gifts, grants, bequests, donations, or money remitted pursuant to section 81-1213.04 for credit to the fund. The Department of Economic Development shall administer the fund for the purposes described in section 81-1213.04. Transfers may be made from the fund to the General Fund at the direction of the Legislature. Any money in the Youth Outdoor Education Innovation Fund available for investment shall be invested by the state investment officer pursuant to the Nebraska Capital Expansion Act and the Nebraska State Funds Investment Act.
Investment earnings from investment of money in the fund shall be credited to the fund.
