North Dakota Century Code Title 40. Municipal Government § 40-11-01. Enacting clause for ordinances

The enacting clause of every ordinance adopted by a municipal corporation shall be: “Be it ordained by the ___ (governing body) of the city of __________.” Such caption, however, may be omitted when the ordinances are published in book form or are revised and digested.
