The bond of a member of the board of county commissioners shall be conditioned for
the faithful performance and discharge, according to law, of the official duties of
the office and the rendition of a true, accurate, and full account of all business
transactions, powers, and trusts of every kind and nature that shall come before the
member or into the member's hands as such officer. The bond shall cover all the business of the county done by the member and shall
protect the county against all the member's acts of omission as well as of commission,
including all errors caused by carelessness or inattention in office.
