North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 58. Insurance § 58-89A-40. Qualifications for controlling person

(a) To be qualified to serve as a controlling person of a licensee under this Article, the controlling person shall be at least 18 years of age, be of good moral character, and have educational, managerial, or business experience relevant to:

(b) This section does not apply to persons who are licensed pursuant to the alternative licensing procedures set forth in G.S. 58-89A-76 or to entities that are controlling persons.
