Montana Title 85. Water Use § 85-8-611. Construction assessments--annual installment

At the time of the confirmation of the assessments as provided in 85-8-347, the court may order the assessment for construction of new work to be paid in not more than 15 annual installments of such amounts and at such times as will be convenient for the accomplishment of the proposed work or for the payment of the principal and interest of such notes or bonds of the district as the court grants authority to issue for the construction of new work. The court shall also by such order fix a date on which the first installment of the assessments for construction shall become due, not more than 5 years after the date of the order, and each of the installments shall draw interest at the rate fixed by the court in accordance with law from the date of the order.
