When said petition is duly presented to the district court, all further proceedings with reference to lands, the owners of which seek to form a new and separate district, shall be as prescribed in 85-7-101 through 85-7-103, 85-7-1504(1), 85-7-1505, and 85-7-1507, and all further proceedings with reference to lands, the owners of which desire that they be incorporated in another existing district, shall be as prescribed in 85-7-1809 and 85-7-1810, insofar as said provisions are not inconsistent with the purposes of 85-7-1831 through 85-7-1833.
