Montana Title 7. Local Government § 7-4-4109. Official bond

Each officer of a city or town who is required to give bond shall file the bond, duly approved, within 10 days after receiving notice of election or appointment or, if notice is not received, then on or before the date fixed for the assumption of the duties of the office to which the officer is elected or appointed.
