Montana Title 7. Local Government § 7-33-4127. Compensation of fire department personnel

The compensation of the chief of the fire department and assistant chiefs of the fire department and firefighters in cities and towns where the council or commission shall establish a paid fire department and the city electrician and assistant city electricians shall be fixed by ordinance.
