Montana Title 7. Local Government § 7-21-3104. Appointment of public weigher

(1) The board of county commissioners shall appoint, at each place where public scales are established by them, a public weigher who has the custody and care of the property.

(2) A public weigher must be governed by rules that may be from time to time prescribed or adopted by the board, and the weigher may be removed at any time by the board.
