Montana Title 7. Local Government § 7-2-2754. Ownership and management of property acquired by continuing county

Each county to which any part of an abandoned and abolished county is attached becomes the owner, under the provisions of this part, of the real and tangible personal property of the abandoned and abolished county and may use all of this property for county purposes, may lease any of this real estate, or may sell any of the real estate or personal property.
