Montana Title 7. Local Government § 7-15-2102. Petition to create county housing authority--hearing and notice

(1) Any 25 residents of a county may file a petition with the county clerk setting forth that there is a need for a housing authority to function in the county.

(2) Upon the filing of such a petition, the county clerk shall give notice of the time, place, and purpose of a public hearing at which the board of county commissioners will determine the need for an authority in the county.
