When the board of county commissioners authorizes a construction or reconstruction project for a wooden county bridge, it shall require the use of Montana-made wooden decking, guardrail posts, fenceposts, and signposts when appropriate and when the cost of wooden materials is less than or equal to the cost of other materials.
