(1) Upon filing of the application prescribed in 7-21-2305 or the filing of the application and the bond or security prescribed in 7-21-2306, in proper form, and upon the payment to the county treasurer of the sum required by 7-21-2303, the county treasurer shall issue and deliver to the applicant a license to carry on the business described in the application in the county in which the license is issued for a period of 90 days from the date of the license.
(2) The county treasurer shall endorse upon each application the date of issuance of the license and shall immediately file the application with the county clerk and recorder of that county. The county clerk and recorder shall file the application in the clerk's office and keep an appropriate index of the applications that shows the date filed, the name of the applicant, and an appropriate reference to the file number by which the application may be found.
