Montana Title 61. Motor Vehicles § 61-3-737. Situs in state of proportionally registered fleets--collection of fees

(1) For the purposes of this part, any motor vehicle previously registered or that has had application for registration made under the provisions of 61-3-711 through 61-3-733 has a situs in Montana for the purposes of the light vehicle registration fee or the fee in lieu of tax.

(2) The department of transportation shall collect the fleet motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer, or pole trailer registration fees, fees in lieu of tax, and license fees prescribed in this part.
