Montana Title 61. Motor Vehicles § 61-3-336. Recycling license plates

The department is authorized to promote the recycling of used or outdated license plates for the metal content and may enter into contractual agreements with nonprofit organizations for the collection of used or outdated license plates and for their transportation to a central recycling point.
