(1) The department may, through its authorized representative, investigate the operations of licensed agencies and may cancel licenses for failure to observe prescribed rules or to maintain minimum requirements. An agency shall give to representatives of the department all information requested and allow them to observe the operation of the agency.
(2) When the department finds, upon the basis of the statement required by 52-8-104(10) or upon its own investigation, that an agency has not conducted or is financially incapable of conducting its operations according to the established standards, the department may suspend, revoke, or deny a license for the agency.
