Montana Title 52. Family Services § 52-8-102. General duties of department

(1) issue licenses to entities engaged in child placement activities on October 1, 1997, if the licensed applicant has met the requirements established by the department by rule;

(2) prescribe the conditions upon which child-placing licenses are issued and revoked; and

(3) adopt rules for the conduct of the affairs of child-placing agencies that are consistent with the welfare of children.
