(1) There is a children's trust fund account in the state special revenue fund in the state treasury. The money in the account is allocated to the Montana children's trust fund board, provided for in 2-15-2214, for funding services and activities under and payment of administrative costs of the child abuse and neglect prevention program provided for in 52-7-101.
(2) Funds deposited in the children's trust fund account may be used only for the program authorized in 52-7-101 and may not be used to pay the expenses of any other program or service administered in whole or in part by the department of public health and human services.
