(1) If the physician for the person at the hospital or treatment location where the person has been committed and the department or local board that requested commitment concur that a person either does not have tuberculosis or has completed an approved course of treatment, the person must be released from the hospital or treatment location.
(2) The department or local board of health that requested commitment shall file a notice of date of release with the court that ordered commitment.
