Montana Title 5. Legislative Branch § 5-11-102. Term

Membership on the council is for 2 years while the member remains qualified and until a successor is appointed and qualified. Members required to be appointed by leadership under 5-11-101 must be appointed immediately following organization of the senate and the house of representatives as provided in 5-2-212 and 5-2-213.
