In the discretion of the court, it may order the clerk of the court to publish a brief notice or memorandum in a newspaper published in the county of the entry of the order against the employer requiring said employer to furnish said bond. Said publication shall be for 4 consecutive weeks. The cost of such publication shall be assessed against the employer as one of the costs of the proceeding.
