Naturopathic physicians have the same authority and responsibility as other licensed physicians with regard to public health laws, reportable diseases and conditions, communicable disease control and prevention, recording of vital statistics, health and physical examinations, and local boards of health, except that the authority and responsibility are limited to activities consistent with the scope of practice described in this chapter.
