Montana Title 37. Professions and Occupations § 37-8-416. Licensed practical nursing--examination

An applicant for a license to practice as a practical nurse is required to pass a written examination in subjects as the board determines. A written examination may be supplemented by an oral or practical examination. The board may use any nationally standardized examination for practical nurse licensure identified by the board in its rules. The passing score shall be established by the board in its rules. On successfully passing the examination, the board shall issue to the applicant a license to practice as a licensed practical nurse.
