Montana Title 33. Insurance and Insurance Companies § 33-15-329. Applicability schedule

(1) Except as provided in 33-15-324, the provisions of 33-15-321 through 33-15-329 apply to all policy forms filed on or after July 1, 1983. A policy form may not be delivered or issued for delivery in this state on or after July 1, 1986, unless approved by the commissioner or permitted to be issued under 33-15-321 through 33-15-329. Any policy form that has been approved or permitted to be issued prior to July 1, 1986, and that meets the standards set by 33-15-321 through 33-15-329 is not required to be refiled for approval but may continue to be lawfully delivered or issued for delivery in this state upon the filing with the commissioner of a list of the forms identified by form number and accompanied by a certificate as to each form in the manner provided in 33-15-325(4).

(2) The commissioner may extend the dates in subsection (1).
