A nonresident insurance producer who violates a condition of the producer's Montana license or a provision of this part is subject to a fine by the commissioner of up to $50,000 for each violation and may, at the discretion of the commissioner, have the Montana nonresident license revoked or suspended for a period of up to 5 years.
