Every officer or other person authorized by this chapter who willfully and knowingly makes any false statement of facts, statement of account, or report and every officer, agent, or clerk of any bank who willfully and knowingly makes any false entries in the books of such bank or knowingly subscribes or exhibits false papers with the intent to deceive any person authorized to examine such bank and every person authorized by the provisions of this chapter to make statements or reports who willfully and knowingly subscribes or makes any false statement or report is guilty of a felony and upon conviction thereof shall be imprisoned in the state prison for a term of not less than 1 or more than 10 years or be fined an amount not to exceed $50,000, or both.
