Montana Title 30. Trade and Commerce § 30-13-213. Voluntary cancellation of registration of assumed business name

(1) When the registrant of record of a registered assumed business name wishes to cancel the registration, the registrant shall deliver to the secretary of state a cancellation of registration of an assumed business name form, which must include but not be limited to the following information:

(2) If the secretary of state finds the form complies with the provisions of this section, the secretary of state shall file it and deliver a letter acknowledging cancellation of the filing to the registrant of record.
