Montana Title 27. Civil Liability, Remedies, and Limitations § 27-28-103. When attorney general required to commence action

The attorney general shall commence an action:

(1) when directed by the governor; and

(2) when, upon complaint or otherwise, the attorney general has good reason to believe that any case specified in 27-28-102 can be established by proof.
