(1) There is a securing access to federal expenditures to repair Montana roads and bridges account in the state special revenue fund provided for in 17-2-102.
(2) Funds in this account are statutorily appropriated, as provided in 17-7-502, to the department of transportation for:
(a) providing state match for additional federal funds allocated to the department through federal redistribution; and
(b) providing state match for discretionary grants awarded to the department.
(3)(a) Total expenditures for state match authorized under this section may not exceed $15 million in a fiscal year.
(b) Expenditures made pursuant to this section must be for construction and reconstruction prioritized by the transportation commission pursuant to 60-2-110.
