Montana Title 15. Taxation § 15-1-143. Supplemental Montana surplus rebate account fund transfer

(1) The state treasurer shall transfer $35 million from the general fund to the Montana surplus rebate account in the state special revenue fund created by 15-1-142, and provided for in 17-2-102, by July 1, 2023. This transfer supplements the transfer provided for in 15-1-142 and must be used in accordance with Chapter 44, Laws of 2023.

(2) The supplemental amount provided for in subsection (1) is statutorily appropriated, as provided in 17-7-502, to the department of revenue.
