(1) The segment of U.S. Interstate 269 located in DeSoto County, Mississippi, extending for a total distance of approximately one (1) mile, consisting of a distance of one-half ( 1/2 ) mile in the easterly direction of U.S. Interstate 269 and a distance of one-half ( 1/2 ) mile in the westerly direction of U.S. Interstate 269, with Exit 1 at McIngvale Road being designated as the central point of beginning in both the easterly and westerly directions, shall be known as the “Mason Wilbanks Memorial Highway.”
(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway described in subsection (1) of this section.
