Mississippi Code Title 63. Motor Vehicles and Traffic Regulations § 63-9-13

All fines and forfeitures collected upon conviction or upon forfeiture of bail of any person charged with a violation of any of the provisions of Chapter 3, 5 or 7 of this title constituting a misdemeanor shall be deposited in the treasury of the county maintaining the court wherein such conviction or forfeiture was had.
