If any provision of sections 456.1-101 to 456.11-1106 or its application to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of sections 456.1-101 to 456.11-1106 which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of sections 456.1-101 to 456.11-1106 are severable.
