The director shall have the authority, at any time and as often as reasonably necessary, to investigate or examine the books and records of any licensed person to assure compliance with sections 443.701 to 443.893. The director shall have the right to examine under oath all persons whose testimony may be required relative to the business of any person being examined or investigated under sections 443.701 to 443.893. The director shall have free and immediate access to any licensed person's places of business and to all books and records related to the licensed business.
