Missouri Revised Statutes Title XXIX. Ownership and Conveyance of Property § 443.370. Penalty for overcharging

Any person taking a larger compensation for his services, as aforesaid, shall be liable to any party interested in such writing, instrument or deed, in a sum double the amount taken for such services, recoverable by a suit in a court of competent jurisdiction.
