Sections 290.600 through 290.642 provide minimum requirements pertaining to earned paid sick time and shall not be construed to preempt, limit, or otherwise affect the applicability of any other law, regulation, requirement, policy, or standard that provides for greater accrual or use by employees of earned paid sick time or that extends other protections to employees.
2. Nothing in sections 290.600 through 290.642 shall be interpreted or applied to create a power or obligation contrary to any federal law, rule, or regulation.
