1. Any employer who willfully violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions and requirements of sections 290.600 through 290.642 shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor; provided, however, that an employer who willfully violates the notice and posting requirements of section 290.612 shall be guilty of an infraction.
2. For purposes of this section, each day of violation or failure to comply and each employee affected shall constitute a separate offense.
