Missouri Revised Statutes Title XVII. Agriculture and Animals § 273.354. Laws not applicable to hospitals or boarding facility under supervision of veterinarians or research

1. Sections 273.325 to 273.357 shall not apply to a place or establishment which operates under the immediate supervision and control of a duly licensed veterinarian as a facility where animals are hospitalized or boarded.

2. Nothing in sections 273.325 to 273.357 shall be construed as requiring licensing of research facilities or authorizing promulgation of rules affecting the design, outlines, guidelines, or performance of actual research or experimentation by a research facility as determined by that research facility's institution animal care and use committee.
