It shall be the duty of the director of agriculture to collate and compile, briefly and concisely, the useful and interesting information derived from the veterinary sanitary service as provided for in sections 267.010 to 267.460, and report to the general assembly, within ten days of the date of the meeting thereof, together with such suggestions as may be beneficial to the agricultural interests of the state.
