Missouri Revised Statutes Title XVI. Conservation, Resources and Development § 260.245. Tax, how levied--limitation--form of ballot

1. A city or county or combination of cities and counties may levy an annual tax as provided in sections 260.200 to 260.245 only after such tax has been submitted to a vote of the people to be affected thereby and a majority of the voters in each city or county voting thereon have approved same.

2. The question shall be submitted in substantially the following form:

Shall (the city of ․․․․․․․․․, the county of ․․․․․․․․․, the city of ․․․․․․․․․, and county of ․․․․․․․․․) levy an annual tax not to exceed ten cents on the one hundred dollars assessed valuation to pay for a solid waste management system?
