Missouri Revised Statutes Title XVI. Conservation, Resources and Development § 257.270. Board to employ guards to enforce regulations, powers

The board of trustees may appoint and maintain from time to time such lifeguards or other guards as it may find necessary to patrol the waters and protect the property of the district and enforce regulations of the board. The guards shall have and exercise like police powers to those conferred upon the police of cities.
